African Youth Congress’ mission is to create a border-less, non-religious, non-political, and non-ethnic/tribal community where African youth can bond and stand together sharing ideas and support each other.

We aim to provide a holistic aspect of youth empowerment meeting common goals and opportunities across Africa.

The five crossed hands Stands for the 5 major geographical areas of Africa; West Africa, East Africa, North Africa, Central Africa and Southern Africa, while the Africa symbol that is placed in the middle of the hands stands for youth collaboration, team spirit, unity and love for Africa.

Each of the colors have meaning to compliment the vision and mission statement of AYC.

The gold hand represents wealth and abundance in Africa.

The green hand represents rebirth, regrowth, renewal, natural vitality of a new Africa.

The royal blue hand represents a mentality of superiority, royalty of Africa.

The red hand represents the strength, power and determination of the African youth.

The black hand represents the roots and heritage of Africa.

African Youths must DISCOVER other African Youths wherever they are and without regards to Country, Religion, Tribe/Ethnicity, Color, Class, Creed, or Political Affiliation.
