When you know the history, your perspective will change. Truth matters. Black people were treated inhumanly and the crimes cannot go unnoticed. WE WILL NOT let that happen. It doesn't matter that those that participated in these acts against humanity are no longer here. The Federal and State govts that were complicit, are still here and responsible. Some of the corporations and descendants of plantation owners that benefited from slavery are still here. We can connect the dots and must connect the dots. We don't need to be Black to have compassion and demand justice for this injustice. Silent White people, please wake up! Reparations for this needs to happen in this generation, this decade. The best way to do this is to implement a policy to eliminate the wealth gap, income gap, education gap, housing gap, and health gap. Become active, become an antiracist.
